W. Scott Phinney, Attorney At Law
Scott Phinney, JD, is a graduate of Yale and Willamette
Universities.
With over 28 years of experience, Mr. Phinney brings a unique
level of expertise in Tax law, negotiations and client
representation. After serving as a Hearing Officer and the Chief
Hearing Officer with the Oregon Department of Revenue and a Land
Use Hearing Officer with Marion County, Oregon, Mr. Phinney
entered private practice. Over the years he has helped
multitudes of clients resolve their tax problems with various
governmental agencies.
Mr. Phinney is licensed to practice in the United States Tax
Court as well as several individual states.
